Selfridges Table

A polished concrete monolith of a table that seems to defy gravity! 👽

To produce this table I designed the outer concrete mass to be formed over an inner steel frame to take the weight and allow us to accomodate the steel legs which give the illusion of support.

The real support comes from the steel frame and has a perimeter of silver mirror around the base - this reflects the steel legs to give the illusion of more of them holding it in place and provides a housing with access panel for the lighting, electrics and other components to safely be out of reach.

Lighting was married with Photographic gels and Acrylics containing the correct colour absorption to produce a branded colour downlighting and heroed Brand logo
