StudioXAG had the honour of designing and producting the Christmas tree for 2016. The scheme revolved around a 'Victorian Christmas' and we produced 2 trees for both V&A Museums. The Museum of Childhood had the added challenge of integrating a Hornby train on a continuous loop.
I devised the construction of the tree and integrated artwork from the design team in order to produce laser cut files which could be safely fixed together, with a build that stood at 4 metres high.
I also drew up the star which was formed from lasercut aluminium and required lighting from inside.
